  Late fall last year Ponderosa “repaired” my gas fireplace insert and received full payment upon completion. When I attempted to turn it on for the first time a month or so later, it didn’t work so I called Ponderosa and explained the issue to the owner. He said they were busy and couldn’t get to it for a “month or so”. I complained that because his technician did not in fact repair the insert he should respond in a prompt manner. The owner repeated they were “too busy”. When I got another company to fix it, that technician explained how Ponderosa screwed up the repair. So, Ponderosa charged me for a fix that didn’t work and then refused to remedy their error. Customer service from hell.
